The National Clinical Care Commission (NCCC) will hold its fourth meeting on September 27, 2019, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. ET. This meeting is open to the public and will be held virtually via webcast. Register today!
At this meeting, we’ll be discussing key focus areas in diabetes prevention, treatment, care, and more. The NCCC will use these key focus areas — as well as takeaways from federal diabetes programs, policies, and research — to develop recommendations designed to improve diabetes care in the United States. The recommendations are set to be released in 2021.
ODPHP hosted the third NCCC meeting at the National Institutes of Health (NIH) campus in June 2019. The meeting featured presentations about federal diabetes efforts from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the VA Boston Healthcare System, and other agencies. Check out resources from previous NCCC meetings.
We hope to see you at the next meeting! And keep up with the NCCC’s activities by signing up for email updates.
