Summary

Many adults with arthritis have trouble doing daily activities. This is linked to more pain and disability, higher costs, and lower quality of life for people with arthritis. Strategies that teach people to manage their arthritis, like interventions to increase physical activity, may help address activity limitations by reducing pain and disability.
