Getting more physical activity can improve health, quality of life, and lower health care costs for individuals and communities across the United States. “Active People, Healthy Nation” is a national initiative led by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) to help 27 million Americans become more physically active by 2027. This website provides strategies that work to increase physical activity and ways to incorporate equity and inclusion into each.
